This fabric wasn’t intended to be a swatch, but I missed a few details on a chart and now need to rip back a week of knitting. Writing up a swatch post well help me feel better about it. Baby Soft® Yarn is a 60% Acrylic and 40% Nylon blend DK weight yarn from Lion Brand. While I love DK, I wanted to work it up doubled which becomes an Aran.

Doubled, it’s creating a super squishable fabric in both garter and stockinette stitch. The cable absolutely pops.

It’s been slow to work because I keep stopping to squish!

This fabric is knitted with 6.5mm/US 10 needles and unblocked is about 14 sts per 4 inches, 10 cm.

I’m surprised at how knitable this yarn is. I thought doubled it would cause me to have split stitches; so far, it hasn’t.
