Notes about the yarn:
This will be a great workhorse yarn. It’s plied evenly and the colors are all nice. It feels like a comfortable worsted yarn. Similar but a tad denser than Fishermen’s wool.
Notes about the swatch:
I wanted to see what a firm fabric would feel like and be like to work, so I worked TSS with the “recommended” hook size of 5mm. It’s dense and firm and was not painfully stiff to crochet. After blocking it softened tremendously while maintaining my desired fabric characteristics.
