Parks are special places which I love to explore and when moving about it’s easy stay warm. If I stop to enjoy (and often photograph) a vista, my hands often get chilly. So I designed this fingerless mitt with a simple purl column to provide subtle interest for both the knitter and the mitt. The name is a nod to Glacier Lake National Park in Montana’s Rocky Mountains that influenced this gorgeous colorway. It is also a nod to New York State where I live — there’s a Bowman Lake State Park in Oxford, New York!
Sample shown in size 6.5 in/ 16.5 cm in Glacier Lake Sunset colorway.

Thank you to Artyarns for the generous yarn support and Fabulous Yarn for the idea.
Looking for additional sizing? Please send use my contact form and let me know. Please note that palm circumferences beyond 8.5 in/ 21.5cm will require more than 1 skein. I am working to expand sizing without the pattern being difficult to follow.
