Summer Sunset Polwarth Handspun

In stock

This skein is handspun from Polwarth wool originally hand-dyed in Michigan in a colorway called Sunset. The colors shift within the plies, and are red-oranges, purples, and blues, much like a summer sunset. It’s approximately 147 meters (160.75 yards) and 70.5 g (2 oz). At approximately 14 WPI, it is a DK weight chain-ply yarn; there are some thick and thin areas making this skein unique.

Spun in a cat-friendly home. I do my best to provide accurate representation of the colors and yarn in my photography, there may be some variability in person.

Please contact me before purchase if you have questions.

Care: hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.
